  • Technology and service convergence is current trend of telecommunication and the guarantee quality of service (QoS) for each application while retaining the best usage of resources is an important criterion for a such network. This leads to a QoS-based optimization process for routing (QoSR) and different aspects with respect to the said are briefly mentioned in this paper as follows: Basis of QoSR technique (II), Bandvvith-based QoSR problem (III), A proposed QoSR on MPLS-DiffServ architecture model (IV), Disc...

  • Abstract Bound solitons generated in actively mode-locked lasers enable new forms of pulse pairs and multiple pairs or groups of solitons in optical transmission or logics. In this paper, we present the generation of stable bound states of multiple solitons in an active mode-locked fiber laser using continuous phase modulation for wideband phase matching. Not only that dual-soliton bound states but also the triple- and quadruple-soliton pulses can be established. Simulation of the generated solitons are demonstrated. We have also prove by simulation that experimental relative phase difference and chirping caused by phase modulation of ...

  • We demonstrate experimental generation of multi-bound solitons of up to sextuple in an active FM Received 16 October 2008 mode-locked fiber ring laser operating under power saturation in the locking state. The ring laser consists Received in revised form 27 February 2009 of two booster optical amplifiers operating in saturation regime, an electro-optic phase modulator driven Accepted 27 February 2009 by a sinusoidal electrical wave and a length of dispersive fiber. The periodic phase modulation generates phase chirp o...

  • Abstract We introduce a new iteration method and prove strong convergence the- orems for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the solution set of monotone and Lipschitz-type continuous Ky Fan inequality. Under certain conditions on parameters, we show that the iteration se- quences generated by this method converge strongly to the common element in a real Hilbert space. Some preliminary computational experiences are reported.

  • In this paper, we suggest a new iteration scheme for finding a common of the solution set of monotone, Lipschitz-type continuous equilibrium problems and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping. The scheme is based on both hybrid method and extragradient-type method. We obtain a strong convergence theorem for the sequences generated by these processes in a real Hilbert space. Based on this result, we also get some new and interesting results. The results in this paper generalize, extend, and improve some well-known results in the literature. AMS 2010 Mathe...

  • In this paper, we introduce an approximation extragradient iteration method for solving bilevel variational inequalities involving two variational inequalities and we show that these problems can be solved by projection sequences and fixed point techniques. We obtain a strong convergence of three iteration sequences generated by this method in a real Hilbert space.

  • Ultra-broadband networks are currently attracting significant interests in employing wireless access and optical fiber access to the home and to the building at symbol rate reaching Gb/s. OFDM is a multicarrier modulation technique and considered to offer significant reduction of the data symbol to be carried per carrier channel, especially in ultra-high speed optical communications with bit rate reaching 100 Gb/s or even higher. This paper thus presents a novel and generic OFDM system employing both MATLAB Simulink and FPGA-based development software platform for simulation as well as hard- ware imple...
